James Allan
James has worked in the mining, and mining financial services, industries since 1983. After graduating at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1982, he worked at Wankie Colliery in Zimbabwe before joining Boart International in 1985. James worked as a mining analyst on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange from 1990 to 2003 before moving into corporate finance.
Sable Platinum was started in 2006 and built up a portfolio of exploration projects covering approximately 600 square kilometres of the Bushveld Igneous Complex in South Africa. Sable Platinum listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in November 2012. During 2013 the portfolio was diversified and the name was changed to Sable Metals and Minerals on 3rd March 2014.
